28/08/19 - 18/09/19 (Week 1 - Week 4) Ahmed Yaman Ibrahim (0341119) Typography Exercises LECTURE NOTES Lecture 1: Briefing 28/08/19 (Week 1) Our first class consisted of us creating our design blogs, with Mr Vinod and Mr Shamsul giving us a detailed breakdown of what kind of content goes into our blogs and what format it should follow. They emphasized the importance of being methodical with how we put information into the blog. We were also shown examples of how senior students presented their blogs. This was followed by an introduction to Typography and what to expect from the module; we were shown what kinds of material to read/use for research as well as names of designers specializing in typography that we could look into. We were also taught the difference between a font, typeface and type family.
